The Lion cub and the Tiger cub
Once upon a time there lived two silly friends.
One fine day the lion cub said, “It is hot.”
“It’s not,” said the tiger cub.
“It is,” said the lion cub.
“It is not,” said the tiger cub.
Both of them started fighting. That made them sad. In the middle of the day an old man came and said, “You silly friends, it is cold under the tree and hot in the sun.”
The Frog and the Scissors
Once upon a time there lived a frog and a scissors. The scissors used to cut the frog, and each and every day the frog had to go to the doctor. Each time, the doctor laughed and laughed, which made the frog mad. The frog kept telling the scissors, ‘please don’t cut me,’ but the scissors did not listen. At last the frog told ‘No!’ to the scissors. The scissors stopped cutting the frog. Then they both lived happily ever after.
The Mosquito and the Teapot
The mosquito always bit the teapot, so the teapot got rusted. But it couldn’t go to the doctor because it was a non-living thing. So when the mosquito bit the teapot the next time, the teapot poured hot tea on the mosquito. Both of them were foolish friends. If both of them would be friends, they could have lots of fun together.
The Window, the Curtain and a Person
Once upon a time there lived a woman in a house. She had a window and a curtain. They came to life at night when the woman went to bed. One night, after she went to sleep, the window and curtain came down from the wall. The curtain went to call their friends. They played all night. Then it became morning. The curtain, the window and their friends didn’t notice that it was morning. The lady saw them. She got scared and threw the friends out of the window, and the three of them lived happily ever after.
The Monkey and the Magic Tree
Once upon a time there lived a monkey and a magic tree. The tree always chased the monkey because the monkey used to eat its leaves. The tree was angry that without its leaves it wouldn’t look beautiful. Then the monkey got tired of running, and stopped eating the leaves. Both of them became friends and lived happily ever after.
The Car with a Talking Engine
Once upon a time there lived a car with a talking engine. Whenever the man drove the car, the engine talked and talked. One day the man got disturbed when he was driving. He dashed against a car. The police saw him and put him in jail. The man had a sword so he cut the grill of the jail and went home. But this was not a nice thing to do.
The Tortoise and the Badminton Racquet
Once upon a time there lived a tortoise and a badminton racquet. Whenever the badminton racquet played, he hit the tortoise on the head and laughed. The tortoise got tired of being hit on the head all the time so he went and hid under his shell. The badminton racquet got scared thinking the tortoise had turned into a rock, so he stopped being mean. They both lived happily ever after.
